Museumsverband Rheinland-Pfalz

More than 430 museums are forming an integral part of the cultural life in the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Even more, they are playing a vital role in preserving our cultural heritage.

Since its foundation in 1992, the Museums Association of Rhineland-Palatinate - in German, Museumsverband Rheinland-Pfalz e.V. - has been representing the interests of these museums. Since April 2001, on behalf of the federal state government, it has been advising museums and their supporting organizations as well as politicians on museum related issues. On this site, you will find a wealth of information about our work, mission and services.
